The 2008 Ball raised just under Seven and a half thousand dollars which has given 8 lucky Taupo Youth the experience of a 5 day Sir Edmund Hillary Foundation course in December 2008.

The Everest Charity Ball is a grand affair with dancing, locals and friends from Taupo and throughout NZ, who came together and enjoyed a night of fabulous dancing and a variety of entertainment.

The funds raised are used to help young people from the Taupo region to attend a specially designed OPC programme (Everest Charity Sponsored Programme), to experience and absorb the values that Sir Edmund Hillary personified.
